Camps for Children With Autism, ADHD / ADD, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy and Special Needs Children


There are many camps specifically geared for children with autism, ADHD / ADD, cancer, cerebral palsy and other special needs and disabilities.


Major national health organization sites including: The American Cancer Society, The Leukemia Society, The Diabetes Association, AIDS/HIV, ADD/ADHD and Asthma organizations provide camps for children with these specific conditions. Also, local parks and recreation departments provide camps for children with special needs and disabilities.

Some camping organizations offer residential and day camp programs throughout the year. These organizations have recognized the importance of recreation for children with a variety of disabilities.
