Brave Kids was founded on June 9, 1999, by
Kristen Fitzgerald , after the loss of her two children to catastrophic
illnesses. The Brave Kids program has been approved by and is linked to over
110 health organizations such as: The National Association of Pediatric Nurse
Practitioners, The National Brain Tumor Foundation, the National Pediatric AIDS
Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy, and the National Children's Cancer Society.

easily locate healthcare resources & support for ill children in their
community.

The Most Recent and Accurate Medical Information
for family members, as well as providing illness-related information to the
children in a fun, interactive way so they can understand what's happening to
them.

enables parents to locate medical information and local resources while they
are in the hospital with their child.
